Music Supervision, DJing as a Career and Full-time Freelancing w/Jené Etheridge

February 28 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PST

What is it like to be behind the turntable at a nightclub or on a radio show, in control of the music that is played for a large audience? What is it like to help lead the creation of a soundtrack for a film or TV show, or find the perfect song to bolster the message in an advertisement?

We’re thrilled that Jené Etheridge is joining us as our weekly workshop mentor to share about her work as a freelance music supervisor and experience as a DJ in Mexico City! Jené is a music curator, cyclist, radio host, and community organizer currently based out of Mexico City. As the former Catalog Curator + Music Producer Marmoset Music, she has led music curation, production, original composition, and sound design projects for branded content and independent films. Past clients include: Nike, Google, Cadillac, Spotify, Planned Parenthood, Vogue, and Netflix.
