William Thompson is a manager and Sr. Financial Planner at Mercer Advisors. He is joining us in this helpful workshop to share insights on budgeting, investment options, and wealth management tailored for creatives－helping them navigate financial challenges and achieve long-term success.

William began his financial services career in 2013 at E*TRADE Financial and subsequently held positions in client service and financial planning at several firms in Chicago and Washington, D.C. before landing at Mercer Advisors in 2023. As a financial planning analyst, he enjoys formulating different strategies to help clients get from where they are to where they ultimately want to be in their financial lives. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in business and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Outside of work, William enjoys exploring the restaurant scene with his wife, working out, and playing the piano.
