Jay works in Inside Sales at DISCO where he meets with labels, publishers, media and content companies and also music supervisors to help show them the benefits of using the platform and how to best set up their workflow inside it. He is also Founder and Head of Creative at Painted Face Entertainment, a boutique catalog of one-stop and easy clear music. A few noteworthy clients have been HBO, Meta, BounceTV, Lionsgate, and Universal.
Josh, a Midwest native, was trained in music at the Conservatory of Music and Dance in Kansas City. After touring globally with indie bands, he evolved into a film composer and educator. With a thriving TikTok and Instagram following of 200k, Joshua, also known as xJ-Will, has collaborated with renowned companies like Lionsgate Films, Apple, Warner Brothers, and CBS, curating unique soundscapes for their diverse projects. His expertise in sync licensing and his ability to customize music to amplify storytelling have established him as a respected figure and educator in the industry that’s given him the opportunity to create an industry changing initiative for BIPOC Creators called SHADES of Sync.
